Treadles in my home in Fresno, California, dance in the night, the teapots bicker, and plenty of books here transport a person into adventures. If it becomes too much there is an escape down the rabbit hole in my castle shed.
I’m having afternoon Treadles and Tea Experiences for friends and followers. See many of the iron ladies and gents and have a how to treadle lesson. Enjoy tea, scones, and a visit to my bit of fun.
Stroll along Treadle Boulevard.
Down Treadle Alley there are a few iron ladies and gents, all nicknamed.
Visit the bickering teapot wall.
The finish on the Jones parlor cabinet was so bad I decided to paint it. It reminds me of Downton Abbey so that is now the nickname.
This was a tea for two outdoors near the shed. We had scones, homemade lemon curd and my version of clotted cream. Yumm!
Gargoyles protect the castle shed. The torch lights and interior lights are solar and create a glow when the sun goes down.
Step into the shed.
